Emergency Procedure
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
- Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

Tuesday 25th July - All three ponies seen
The ponies were standing in line beside the track next to the racecourse on the south side of Brock's Hill (C6) at 1530 today. They all appeared well, doing a bit of grazing (and a lot of standing), and tolerating the flies.

Tuesday 11th July - All three ponies seen
The ponies were tucked up in the far south west corner of the site at 1030 this morning. Two were paired nose to tail for a mutual fly swat, the third close by, up against the racecourse fence. They seemed well enough if troubled by flies and a large wasp which kept trying to land on one or other of the pair. They saw it off again and again with either a wave of the tail or a tremble of their hide.

Wednesday 5th June - Three ponies seen
I got rained off last evening so I went to visit today. The three ponies could be seen from the top of Brock's Hill, close to the stand of trees in E4. When I got there however they had already moved south under cover. Once I caught up with them I could see that they all look well. There is much more water on the site after the recent rain; the Gelvert is flowing, the ditches have accessible levels of water in them and the boggy areas are soft again (as my shoe will confirm).

Monday 3rd July - 4 COWS REMOVED
Pony update
Nicky, the owner of the ponies, has been to Long Valley today, and swapped ponies around!
So the total number of ponies is still 3, however 2 have gone off back to her farm and she brought 2 up to replace them.
So if they look a bit different when you next see them, now you know your eyes aren't playing tricks on you!

All found at 9.00. The ponies were at the foot of the hill and the cows were guarding the gate into the test track section. All looked fine. No water in the stream but some in the pond.
