    Sunday 30th July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all grazing in the area around ///thinnest.patting.birds at the side of Brock's Hill at 12:50 this afternoon.  They were all happily munching away despite the light rain shower.

Two ponies wandered into the trees around ///beast.viewer.tent at 13:20 and stood at the racecourse fence line watching a horse and its rider doing some jumping practice.  They soon came back out and continued grazing with the third pony.  They were all happy and very relaxed today.

The ponies were all good this afternoon.

    Saturday, 29 July 2023

    Saturday

All found looking fine at 2.30 in the trees on the north side alongside the road.

    Friday, 28 July 2023

    Friday 28th July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all busy grazing in the area around ///outs.mass.grows, just off the main path, at 16:45 this afternoon.  They were all happy and relaxed.  They all had a rest and wandered over to say hello, before carrying on munching on the long grass in the thicket in the surrounding area.  There were far fewer flies around this afternoon, with the original pony getting a much deserved break, having barely any flies on her face at all.

The ponies were all good this afternoon.

    Thursday, 27 July 2023

    Thursday 27th July. Three seen.

Sorry for late post. All good today.

All 3 stood grazing near the track on the south side of Brocks Hill.

    All seemed happy.

    Tuesday, 25 July 2023

Tuesday 25th July - All three ponies seen

The ponies were standing in line beside the track next to the racecourse on the south side of Brock's Hill (C6) at 1530 today.  They all appeared well, doing a bit of grazing (and a lot of standing), and tolerating the flies.

    Sunday, 23 July 2023

    Sunday 23rd July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all munching on grass at the side of the path in the area around ///labels.fires.clarifies at 13:15 this afternoon.  They were all happy and very relaxed.  There were fewer flies around today, which was good to see.

The ponies continued to graze alongside the path for about twenty minutes until they veered off into the thicket around ///settle.salary.fools.  They found some longer grass, which they happily shared.

The ponies were all good today.

    Saturday, 22 July 2023

    Saturday

Ponies all found at 8.30 looking fine, just off the main path alongside the race course.

    Friday, 21 July 2023

    Friday 21st July - All 3 seen

The ponies were found grazing in the area around ///charts.revised.motor at 17:05 this evening. They were all happy and relaxed and were munching away on the fresh grass. All three came and said hello and were super friendly. There were considerably fewer flies around today, and the ponies were a lot more comfortable than they have been of late, which was great to see.

The ponies continued grazing away happily and followed the path along the east side of Brock's Hill, getting to the area around ///interests.dugouts.array at 18:00 when I said cheerio to them.

There was plenty of drinking water available for them in the pond.

The ponies were all good today.

    Thursday, 20 July 2023

    Thursday 20th July. Three seen.

The trio all good earlier today.

    Sunday, 16 July 2023

    Sunday 16th July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all standing under the cover of the trees in the far south-west corner at 12:05 this afternoon.  All three were nice and relaxed and came over to say hello.  There were a lot of flies around again today, and the poor original pony seemed to be getting the worst of them around her eyes and nose.

Just after 12:40 they decided to leave the trees and go and graze in the surrounding area.  They were all happily munching on grass until I left them about twenty minutes later.

The ponies were all good today.

    Thursday, 13 July 2023

    Thursday 13th July. Three seen

     Ponies good, despite usual flies.

Tuesday 11th July - All three ponies seen

The ponies were tucked up in the far south west corner of the site at 1030 this morning.  Two were paired nose to tail for a mutual fly swat, the third close by, up against the racecourse fence.  They seemed well enough if troubled by flies and a large wasp which kept trying to land on one or other of the pair.  They saw it off again and again with either a wave of the tail or a tremble of their hide.

    Sunday, 9 July 2023

    Sunday 9th July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all grazing beside the path along the east side of Brock's Hill at 13.25 this afternoon. They were all happy and relaxed, although they were constantly trying to get rid of the bothersome flies. All three wandered over and said hello. The original pony and one of the newbies were very friendly this afternoon and were happy to stand close and have their ears rubbed, which also kept the flies away from their eyes. They were still munching when I left them at 14:20. The ponies were all good today.

    Friday, 7 July 2023

    Friday 7th July - All 3 seen

The ponies were all happily grazing in the warm sunshine in the area around ///inch.career.derailed at 17:40 this evening.  They were very relaxed and all came over to say hello.  It was lovely to meet the two newbies who are the most gorgeous colours.  They seem to have settled into their new home under the guidance of the super friendly original pony.

The ponies continued to munch on grass as they made their way east.  There were a few flies around, which seemed to be getting in their eyes, but weren't causing them too many issues.

The ponies were all good this evening.

    Thursday, 6 July 2023

Thursday 6th July. Three ponies seen

The three ponies all looking well today.

Wednesday 5th June - Three ponies seen

I got rained off last evening so I went to visit today. The three ponies could be seen from the top of Brock's Hill, close to the stand of trees in E4.  When I got there however they had already moved south under cover. Once I caught up with them I could see that they all look well.  There is much more water on the site after the recent rain; the Gelvert is flowing, the ditches have accessible levels of water in them and the boggy areas are soft again (as my shoe will confirm).

    Monday 3rd July - 4 COWS REMOVED

    Hi All,

Due to the weather recently we've removed the cows off Longvalley to prioritise the water levels for the 3 ponies.

They have moved to Ceasers Camp

Three ponies remain, but as the update below they are three new!

Thanks very much for your time!

    Grace
    Grazing Team

    Pony update

Nicky, the owner of the ponies, has been to Long Valley today, and swapped ponies around!

So the total number of ponies is still 3, however 2 have gone off back to her farm and she brought 2 up to replace them.

So if they look a bit different when you next see them, now you know your eyes aren't playing tricks on you!

    Sunday, 2 July 2023

    Sunday 2nd July - All 7 seen

The cows were all found in the area around ///uncouth.bulbs.radio at noon today.  Cow 234 was lying down, resting and chewing her cud.  The other three were standing, doing the same.  The cows had found a nice, cool spot under the cover of some trees, which didn't have too many flies.

Two ponies were busy munching on fresh grass around ///frowns.lizards.hexes at 12:20.  The third was a close by munching away at ///irrigate.stars.rams ten minutes later.  They all had a number of flies on their faces, which weren't disturbing their grazing too much.

There was still plenty of water in the pond, and there was still water pooled at the hydrant sign close to where the cows were hiding out.

The cows and the ponies were all good today.

    Saturday, 1 July 2023

    Saturday

All found at 9.00. The ponies were at the foot of the hill and the cows were guarding the gate into the test track section. All looked fine. No water in the stream but some in the pond.

Wednesday 20th august- all 3 seen
