Entered at the gate by the corral at 0930 and quartered the site, starting in the trees in that SW corner, an hour and 5000 steps later I found them back at the corral. I'm not suggesting they did it deliberately but they seemed to think it was funny.
They were all well, happily tearing up the relatively lush grass and browsing on the small birch.
I met Mike from the Thames Basin Heaths Partnership on Brock's Hill. We talked about the Silver Studded Blue and his expectation that it will be another week before they are about. I spotted just two butterflies while walking the site, a Brimstone and this one...
