Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 1st October - All 9 seen

Two ponies emerged from the thicket on the east side of Brock's Hill at 11:25 this morning.  The original collared pony was busy munching on grass close by.  They were relaxed and looking well.

All three wandered to the area around ///excuse.youth.lawns by the path near the racecourse fence line to meet up with the other six ponies a short time later.  Some were munching on grass, while others were taking part in some acorn hunting.  A couple were in amongst the trees and were getting their noses deep in the fallen leaves trying to find acorns.

Eight of the ponies stood just off the main path under the trees resting until shortly before 12:30 when they decided to walk off eastwards.  The ninth, the collared newbie, had wandered off and was happily munching on grass around ///ooze.transmits.lost near the track up to Brock's Hill.

The ponies were all good today.
