Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Monday 9th October - All 9 seen

Four ponies were grazing in the area around ///cosmic.golf.scope just after 14:00 this afternoon.  One pony was initially out in the open, grazing in the warm sunshine, but she soon took shade under the trees beside the others who were munching on long grass amongst the trees.  All four were happy and relaxed.  The tan pony was her usual friendly self and was happy to receive an ear rub.

The pony that resembles the tan pony came out of the trees in the area around ///horns.breaches.aced at about 14:30.  She gave a loud neigh and the tan pony responded.  She slowly made her way over, initially wandering up to me to say hello, before grazing in the sun near the group of four.

The other four ponies were found around ///graph.swan.vanished near the Aldershot Road an hour later.  They had been joined by one of the ponies from the first group.  The ponies were all happily grazing in the thicket before stopping to forage for acorns.  They were being quite successful based on the crunching.

The ponies were all good today.
