Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 15th October - All 9 seen

Five ponies were found in the woods in the far north-east corner of the site around ///ever.rooms.mills at 14.50 this afternoon.  They were initially hunting for acorns, but soon stopped and rested.  One by one, they wandered over to say hello, which made it easy to check them.  They were all very relaxed, with three happy to stand and receive a head rub.

The newbie collared pony was grazing in the trees to the south of the first five, just at the forest edge twenty minutes later.  She was very relaxed and was happily munching away on a patch of grass.  The other three ponies were out in the open, munching on long grass in the sunshine.  They were all looking really well.

The ponies that were in the trees came out and joined the other three by 15:20.  They all continued to graze happily in the thicket around ///nicely.valued.parks.

The ponies were all good today.
