Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 17th December - All 6 seen

What a lovely surprise to find all six ponies resting at the side of the main path in the area around ///disco.member.falters at 12:15 this afternoon.  The chestnut and the tan ponies were lying down relaxing with the other four standing beside them.  They all looked happy and were enjoying the sunshine when it broke through the clouds.

The ponies continued to rest for another twenty minutes before they started to wander off and munch on some gorse in the southwest corner of the site.  The tan pony was the last to get up and had been really trying not to fall asleep..  She got up and wandered straight over to say hello and to receive a head rub.  She was super chilled today.  After ten minutes, she walked off and joined the others eating gorse.

The ponies were all good today.

At 17:15 this afternoon, I was given a lovely welcome, with the ponies coming to meet me at the main entrance and greeting me with soft nick...
