Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Sunday 14th April - All 8 seen

The ponies were all happily grazing in the thicket in the area around ///calm.poem.duties at 13:50 this afternoon. They were all happy and relaxed. A couple of the ponies had a few flies on their faces, but they weren't too bothered. The ponies slowly made their way south before crossing the main path into the pasture around ///trusts.layover.query. Several of the ponies waded through the large pool of water at the side of the path to get there. Tilly spent an extended time in the water munching on plants growing on the surface. She loves that pool of water 😊. The ponies all continued to graze, with four jumping over the stream to graze on the far side. The ponies were all looking really well today. They were all very friendly and came and said hello. Tilly and Diva enjoyed long ear and neck rubs. I said goodbye to them just before 15:00. The ponies were all good today.
