    Saturday 30th November - All 6 seen

The ponies were resting by the path alongside the Tweseldown Racecourse at 10:50 this morning. Pandora and the foal were lying down, but quickly got up when they spotted me. They were all very friendly, approaching one by one to say hello and enjoying plenty of strokes and rubs. All six looked happy, relaxed, and in excellent condition. The foal was especially affectionate today, rarely leaving my side and thoroughly enjoying endless neck, ear, and back rubs. He rewarded me with lovely cuddles, nuzzles, and licks.

I met Nicky at the site, and she applied antibiotic ointment to the bay coloured pony's right eye, which was slightly sticky again this morning. It's likely she caught her eye on a stray bit of gorse, but the treatment should help clear things up.

While Nicky and I chatted, the foal enjoyed being made a fuss of, and the other ponies relaxed close by. We said our goodbyes around noon.

The ponies were all good today.

    Friday 29th November - All 6 seen

The ponies were happily grazing near ///irrigate.stars.rams at 14:15 this afternoon. They were all very friendly, coming over one by one to say hello and enjoy some strokes. The foal waited patiently for his usual neck rub, rewarding me with affectionate cuddles and nuzzles. His thick winter coat is doing a fantastic job keeping him warm during these bitterly cold nights. The ponies appeared happy, relaxed and in good condition

They continued grazing in the sunshine, gradually making their way towards the Gelvert Stream. They enjoyed plenty of grass, with the occasional nibble on gorse. The ponies frequently returned to spend time with me, happily accepting more strokes. The little one especially enjoyed a long back rub while grazing. Shortly before 15:10, something over on the racecourse startled them. After pausing to assess the situation, they suddenly bolted at full speed, leaping over the ditch as they ran into the pasture to the north. By the time I caught up with them near ///mobile.duet.racked, they had calmed down and resumed grazing.

As the afternoon light faded, the ponies continued to enjoy the long grass and heather, looking stunning in the golden glow of the setting sun. Slowly, they made their way to the northeast corner of Brock's Hill, where most began munching on gorse. The foal, however, returned for more strokes, enjoying another neck and ear rub.

I said my goodbyes just after 16:00 as the temperature dropped and darkness set in. The bay-coloured pony still had a slightly sticky right eye, though it didn't seem to be bothering her. I've shared more photos with the owner, who plans to check on her soon.

The ponies were all good today.

    Friday 29th Staff check

All 6 seen along the main track by the race course. None of them seemed to have any sort of gunk in their eyes so I assume that's cleared up now. All looked good

Sorry I’m not available on Monday to ‘look’ although they usually hide from me anyway :) Can do Weds instead

Wednesday 27 November- All 6 seen

The ponies were grazing on grass and gorse to the right hand side area by the cattle grid at 11:25. All happily munching (the foal and his mum were very keen to get exactly the same blade of grass!)

I saw Gordon’s note about the bay pony’s eye - there’s still a drop of clear gunk, but the eye itself looks clear and she doesn’t seem bothered by it. Didn’t get a photo sorry.

All seem to be doing fine today

    Tuesday 26th November - All 6 seen

The ponies were enjoying the bright sunshine on the NE side of Brock's Hill at 1015 this morning.  All appeared well.  The one-eyed pony was up on the side of the hill but came down expectantly as I checked around the others and wanted one of Gordon's nose rubs.

    Sunday 24th November - All 6 seen

At 13:25 this afternoon, four ponies and the foal were relaxing by the track on the north side of Brock's Hill, near ///bleak.builders.juicy. They were well-sheltered from the strong wind. The foal was initially lying down, but quickly got up to come and say hello. Megan was happily grazing on her own further east along the track. The ponies were all incredibly friendly, approaching one by one to greet me and enjoy plenty of strokes. They seemed delighted to have a visitor, showing lots of affection with head rubs, nuzzles and licks. About twenty minutes later, Megan returned and came straight over to say hello.

The ponies began grazing, most staying on the hill's slope, while Tilly preferred the gorse bushes on the opposite side of the track. They took frequent breaks to return for more strokes and rubs. The bay-coloured pony's right eye seemed better today, though it still needs monitoring.

By 14:15, the ponies crossed into the pasture northeast of the hill, enjoying the long grass and heather. The little one grazed for a bit before coming over for a long neck rub, clearly enjoying the attention before relaxing completely. Meanwhile, the other ponies had moved further east to graze. Tilly and Poppy were happily munching on gorse, while the rest focused on the grass. The foal wanted more strokes, though, and after getting his back brushed, he enjoyed another neck rub. He even played his favourite game with my jacket hood, pulling it over my head several times. It was wonderful to spend some quiet time with him this afternoon.

As I was saying my goodbyes, a heavy shower passed through at 15:00. Fortunately, I made it back to the car just as another downpour began. Hopefully, the ponies found a good spot to shelter from the wind and the rain.

The ponies were all good today.

the ponies were just by the Tweseldown fence at ///melts.sting.giants at 10:25 (happened to be walking on Tweseldown so popped over to check them)

All 6 together and fine (if a bit soggy!)

    Friday 22nd November - All 6 seen

The ponies were happily grazing near ///nooks.chaos.mutual at 14:40 this afternoon. Although the sun made a brief appearance, it remained quite chilly. One by one, the ponies came over to say hello and enjoy their first strokes. They all appeared happy, relaxed, and in good condition, their thick winter coats keeping them warm during this cold snap. The foal was especially friendly, eagerly coming over for a neck rub and greeting me with plenty of cuddles and nuzzles.

While the ponies continued grazing, they regularly returned for more strokes. The bay-coloured pony, the last to arrive on-site, had a sticky right eye. She allowed me to clean it gently and was otherwise fine. I’ve shared photos with Nicky for her awareness. All the ponies were very friendly, enjoying having their necks and backs stroked. The little one especially loved a long back and shoulder rub, frequently pausing his grazing to give affectionate nuzzles. It was wonderful to see he’s developed the same hardiness as his mum, coping admirably with the cold weather.

After a while, several ponies moved to the gorse bushes to eat. Tilly seemed to especially enjoy the gorse, but was still happy to have her back stroked as she munched. Poppy took a break to come over for a long neck and shoulder rub, allowing me to remove the gorse tangled in her mane. She thoroughly enjoyed the attention, rewarding me with gentle nuzzles.

I said my goodbyes just after 16:20 as daylight began to fade. The ponies had plenty of drinking water nearby, but I also broke the ice on numerous puddles along the main path close to where they were grazing.

The ponies were all good today.
