Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Monday 26th June - All 7 seen

Just as I was walking down Brock's Hill, the ponies came wandering around the corner to meet me at 16:15 this afternoon.  They all wandered over to say hello and seemed a lot happier in the cooler conditions.   The ponies were happy to stand and relax at the bottom of Brock's Hill.   After a good 15 minutes, one decided to start munching on grass.   I've taken some additional photos of the ponies nose/mouths and will email them over to HIWWT just to check they are all OK.

The cows had quickly reacquainted themselves with the Brock's Hill side of the site and were all happily munching away in the area around ///rats.fights.magic at 17:00.  Surprisingly, despite all the sun, the area they were in was still quite swampy, and they all had muddy feet.  All four were looking fit and healthy.

As I was leaving the site at 17:25, all three ponies were grazing in the area around ///trickled.rice.corrode.

The cows and the ponies were good today.
