Nicky brought an additional pony up to site this morning. There are now seven ponies plus one foal on Long Valley. It was great to see Victoria again. She quickly found her feet and integrated back into the group before enjoying some grass.
Before Nicky's arrival, the ponies were all found grazing in the area to the east of the pond at 10:30. They were all happy, relaxed and looking well. Normal service resumed, with the little one running over to say hello as soon as he saw me. He enjoyed a long neck and back scratch.
The ponies were all good today.
Emergency Procedure
If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:
NOTES:
Thank you!
- Call the office on 01256 381190.
- If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
- Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.
NOTES:
- Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.
- If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.
