Emergency Procedure

If you need to report an emergency to us such as injured or escaped livestock or damaged infrastructure please follow this procedure:

  1. Call the office on 01256 381190.
  2. If no one answers, wait for the answering message which will detail the name and mobile number of the member of staff who is currently on call.
  3. Phone the on-call member of staff who will then respond accordingly.

NOTES:

  • Please do not phone a member of staff directly unless you know they are on-call.

  • If you are unsure if a particular situation qualifies as an emergency then please phone the on-call member of staff anyway so that they can make the decision on how to proceed.

  • Most importantly of all – please do not report injuries or sick animals via the blog alone – always call the emergency on-call contact.

    Thank you!

    Friday 10th May - All 4 seen

The ponies were all found in the area around ///masts.motels.purist in the northeast corner of the site at 18.50 this evening. The newbie quickly wandered over to say hello and was happy to stand and receive an ear rub. She was happy, relaxed and looking really well. The other two ponies and the foal were deep in the thicket to the west. I could see that they were slowly heading south, back towards the main path, so I started wading my way back through the swampy and waterlogged ground in that direction. I met up with them in the area around ///goggle.crumb.blog at 19:05. The two ponies were happily grazing, with the foal standing close to Megan. He quickly came over to say hello and after a few stiffs, he started gently nibbling at my arm. He was happy to be stroked and soon wanted a long back rub. After he was done, he went back to his mum and lay down and had a short snooze. He soon got back up and went and nursed. The two ponies continued to graze, slowly moving southwest. The newbie pony came out of the thicket and joined them just as I was saying goodbye at 19:30.

The ponies were all good today.
