Four ponies were grazing on both sides of the main path around ///labels.fires.clarifies at 17:00 this afternoon. The other four were in the pasture to the southwest, around the pond. Two were grazing in the bushes, with Megan and her foal out in the open. There was some light drizzle at times, but they weren't bothered by it.
Megan and her foal were both doing well. I was so worried about him experiencing his first thunder and lightning in the early hours of this morning. However, he was absolutely fine and came over to say hello numerous times today. He was very curious and would come and stand right in front of me, before sniffing my hands. The little one nursed from mum several times during my visit. When I wandered back over after spending some time with the others, he had a little run around the pasture before sitting down to rest. When I was leaving at 18:25, he was having a nap.
After a while, the six other ponies came together in the pasture around the pond and continued to graze. They were all happy, relaxed and looking really well. They were all really friendly and came over to say hello. Several ponies were happy to stand and receive long ear rubs.
The ponies were all good today.
